Effects of taking Armodafinil

Side effects

In pre-registration controlled clinical trials, the most common adverse reactions (≥5%) in patients taking Armodafinil, which were observed more often than in patients taking placebo, were headache, nausea, dizziness and insomnia. The adverse reaction profile was similar in all studies.

Precautions while taking Armodafinil

Pregnancy: not recommended for pregnant women unless prescribed by a doctor. The benefits and risks associated with this remedy should be discussed with your doctor.

Breast-feeding: Not recommended for women who are breastfeeding. It is important that the patient is closely monitored to check whether the unwanted effects of this remedy are passed on to the infant or not.

Alcohol consumption: You may increase the side effects caused by this remedy, which include dizziness, impaired judgment, drowsiness, etc.

Contraception: weakens the effect of hormonal contraceptives, which can also lead to unwanted pregnancy.
